What a night! Rosemont Care was out in force at this year’s Kent Care Awards, and it was a genuine pleasure to spend the evening celebrating the very best of care across Kent alongside so many brilliant teams and individuals from the sector.
Back in September, we were incredibly proud to have five of our own shortlisted as finalists:
Kinjal Gangar — Technology Innovation Award
Samuel Akpiri — Care Newcomer
Elijah Udeh — Care and Support Worker
Chathuni De Silva — Recruitment, Retention and Recognition Award
Arthur Powell’s team — Community Care Team
Simply being shortlisted among so much outstanding talent from across the county is a real achievement, and one that reflects the dedication, compassion and hard work each of them brings to Rosemont Care every single day. We couldn’t be prouder of all five.
And we have some wonderful news to share: Elijah Udeh took home the Care and Support Worker award! Elijah wasn’t able to join us on the night, so our own Karen Tyler stepped up to accept the award on his behalf, a lovely moment, and one that says a lot about the kind of team we have. Huge, huge congratulations, Elijah. This one is so well deserved, and it’s a fantastic recognition of the warmth, reliability and outstanding care you bring to the people you support every day.
Evenings like this are a wonderful reminder of just how much incredible work goes on in care every single day, often quietly and without fanfare. To everyone at Rosemont Care, whether you were nominated, in the room on the night, or holding things together back at work while others attended, thank you. This recognition belongs to all of you.
Congratulations again to Kinjal, Samuel, Elijah, Chathuni and Arthur’s team — we’re so proud to have you all as part of Rosemont Care.
